Big Jon and Ron VA3TVS, at Jon's Custom "Antiques &
Cool Junk", just south-west of Lubbock, TX. on hwy 62. When in Lubbock, stop in and say hello. Just look for the Texas sized
cockroach. Big Jon survived the F5 that wiped out Lubbock in 1970. Less than 0.5% of all maxi-tornadoes are rated F5. Lubbock
is home to Buddy Holly. Picture taken by Ben Fuller VA3PDS on May 07, 2005. Thanks Ben.

High Tech water hose system holder. You gotta love
the easy, laid back way in west Texas. Much better than the big city way of life don't you think? Farwell, Texas. (east
of Clovis, New Mexico on hwy 60). Taken by Ron VA3TVS on May 06, 2005.

Tumble Weed, "Hitchin' a Ride". We were attacked by
this rolling tumble weed (in 80 km/h cross winds) as Sandra was driving south from Goodland, Kansas. It got stuck in my custom
made light rack and held on (pretty much wedged in there, LOL!) until I took it out. Sorry about the rain on the lens, it
was fairly windy out! Picture by Ron VA3TVS on May 24, 2005.
